Hi all !
Happy Friday! We hope you've got lots of great plans lined up for the weekend. Fingers crossed for some lovely sunshine.
Below is an inspiration board based around one of our latest designs - Simply Script.
It's a simple and stylish design using the element of both the scroll and typography. For this board we've paired it up with images that compliment the style and colour theme.

Pinterest. Who's doing it? Well I read on a website that it's primarily used by women aged 25-35. But I believe the audience is a lot more diverse than that now... It's been around for a while now, so I'm assuming most people know about it. Brides... definitely. Suppliers in the wedding industry... for sure. But for those of you who haven't yet jumped on board this latest fad, here's what it's about...
Remember those good old days when you had a project that you wanted to plan for - you'd spend all that time carefully cutting out images and clippings from magazines and newspapers, spend hours gluing them into a scrapbook of some short, then write beneath each image what it is, where you found it, how much it costs. Hours of fun!
Pinterest takes away all those hours and instead gives you everything in an instant. AND once more, it's all online - so you can tap into it no matter where you are.
It lets you organise all your favourite images onto pinboards. And for those of us who love to organise stuff, well it's just a dream come true. Just think about the endless possibilities of various categories you can have... Monica from F.R.I.E.N.D.S would have loved it.
Once more, you can share those images so others can see them. You can then browse other peoples boards to see if you like what they like - if you do, then you just 'repin' it onto your board. It's that simple.
Some various categories that may be of interest when planning a wedding could be...
Wedding dresses, bridesmaid dresses, flowers, cakes, table settings, invitations, hair styles etc
Or you may be looking to be inspired by different themes...
Vintage, country, antique, woodland, nautical etc
Or colour themes...
Soft pink, sweet peach, blush, soft green, sparkling gold etc
And if it's not a wedding you're planning - the possibilities are endless. House renovation, cooking inspiration, event planning, gift ideas, children/babies, favourite places, travel... and so much more.
I might have to retract that comment earlier about it saving you hours - because I warn you now - it's HIGHLY addictive. But oh so much fun!

Spotlight couple - Emma and Henry
It is always special working on a friends wedding stationery. And this one was no exception! Not only is Emma one of my
(Charlotte) very dear friends, but I was also a bridesmaid for this stunning
wedding.
Emma and Henry were dream clients, they
knew what they wanted, had a very clear concept for the style of their wedding
and were very receiving to our input and ideas.
The brief was clear – simple, elegant
invitations with a rustic edge. Printed on a textured card with rounded corners
and added features of craft paper envelopes and twine. So it was very easy to
follow this theme through to all the ‘on the day’ stationery. Menus, place name
tags tied to napkins with bakers twine, a pegged table plan, table numbers
attached to twigs, favor tags for hand potted jars of honey… oh and custom made
envelopes for the photobooth. OH my!
I could go on about this day, how beautiful
every detail was, how stunning Emma looked, or the special morning we all
spent together getting ready, trying not to look each other in the eye or our
mascara would run. But I think I will let these magical photos captured by the oh-so-talented Catherine
from Catherine Cattanach Photography speak for themselves.

The invite set - Invite, RSVP postcard, info card with map, craft envelope tied together with twine and swing tag. Phew!
|
Beautiful Emma! |
Flowers too beautiful for words. From the talented team at Moonflower |
Detail shots - menus, name tags and table numbers
|
As favours - mini jars of honey from Henrys parents farm and hand potted by Emmas Nan! Tied with lace and twine. |
There we all are! We all picked our own dresses and the little shrugs were made by Emmas Mum! |
A little Moet and photos! |
How's that for a reception! Stunning. |

New design - Pretty peonies
Hi there everyone
Simple and sweet in plain black and white - or imagine it in soft pinks, pretty peaches or gorgeous greens...
There's something about peonies... we here at Cocoa Berry (like everyone else) just love them. I'm sure you've all seen them on various inspiration boards, constantly being pinned on pinterest, or perhaps you actually make it outside and see them in real life and not just on the computer screen (where many of us seem to spend endless hours!).
Which is why we wanted our next design to be all about the pretty peony. They're just such a romantic flower, which is why of course, they're just perfect for weddings.
It'll be our newest off the rack design. But as usual, starts it life on our recent design work page.
So today we pay tribute to this gorgeous flower that everyone ♡'s so much.

New design - Bee's Knees
Hi there everyone! Hope you are all having a great week so far... not long to go until the weekend!
Today we want to share with you a brand new design called the 'Bee's Knees' - a simple and mainly typographic design with a sweet honey comb pattern on the back of the invite.
It combines the want of something simple and elegant for the actual invitation, with a splash of bold colour and pattern on the back. This design would suit a couple who don't want anything overly wordy or decorative.
We think it works well in simple colour combos - shown here in shades of tangerine and peach.
You can find it on our website under 'recent design work' - but it will indeed be making it's way across to the 'off the rack' section - all in good time!
